2 The privilege of prayer allows us to pray blessings over anyone.

3 God honors our prayers for the political leadership in our world.

Prayer

Lord, I approach You this day, praying over our political leadership teams. God, thank You for a peaceful transfer of power in our country. Thank You for the willingness of those who have been serving in our political systems, for the sacrifices that each of them have made to have the offices by which You have given them and allowed for them to walk in over the last four years. I pray a blessing over President Biden and Vice-President Kamala Harris, and their teams as they continue in their journey of life. May You, the God of the universe reveal Yourself to them, leading them into Your direction and Your unlimited truth. May they be still before You, grateful for the opportunity to serve in leadership for the United States of America. May You give them the heart for wisdom, for unity, and for the gospel of Jesus Christ. May You teach them of Yourself through Your Holy Word, and may You guide them towards Jesus as each day passes by. I pray over our previous political leadership in the mighty name of Jesus, our Lord, Amen.

God, I now shift my prayers to those who are coming into the Presidential office of the United States. May you be present with President Donald Trump and Vice-President J.D. Vance, as well as their teams as they enter into this transitional period. May You be steadfast in giving them the wisdom, guidance, discernment, and understanding on how to operate the governmental aspects of this nation. May unity abound through Jesus Christ under their leadership and their authority. May they lean on Your presence, may they walk in everlasting truth by the power of the Holy Spirit. The best way for us to move forward is with the Holy Spirit, so God, I pray that Your Spirit would overcome them in every way. May You help our nation move closer to Your absolute truth, Your biblical mandates and principles, and Your peace that’s been brought to us through Jesus Christ. I pray over the leadership that transitions today in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
